Przemyśl
Przemyśl is a city in southeastern Poland, with a population of around 60,000 inhabitants. It is one of the oldest cities in the region and serves as a cultural and administrative centre in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. Known for its rich history, architecture, and proximity to the Carpathian Mountains, Przemyśl plays a significant role in Polish-Ukrainian relations.
Przemyśl is also an important transportation hub, especially for cross-border rail travel. Przemyśl Główny railway station offers direct international train connections to Ukraine, including regular services to Lviv, Kyiv and other major Ukrainian cities. These connections make Przemyśl a key transit point for both passengers and humanitarian aid traveling between Poland and Ukraine.
