This trip was part archaeological adventure and part emotional homecoming. Andrzej prepared for the journey by researching old maps and locating what was left of my grandmother’s hometown. We were able to see so much more than I could have imagined. Andrzej was friendly, kind and patient. Part of the reason I wanted to visit Poland again was to fulfill a promise I made to my grandmother before she passed away. I promised that if I ever had the opportunity to visit her hometown I would do so.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrzej to anyone who is interested in discovering more about their family heritage and history in Poland.
